About Me
Hi! I’m Jen.
I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in May 2016 and quickly found joy in not only providing services, but also mentoring others as they worked toward their own certification. From the start, my work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities was about more than treatment plans or data collection—it was about supporting families during some of their most vulnerable and overwhelming moments. I wanted every family I worked with to feel seen, heard, and empowered to help their loved one thrive.
In 2019, my professional journey became deeply personal when my first child was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. That moment reshaped me as both a clinician and a parent. Suddenly, I was experiencing firsthand the emotions, fears, and questions that so many of the families I had supported carried with them. My priorities shifted away from simply achieving goals, and instead to truly understanding the heart of what families need: compassion, guidance, and reassurance that they are not alone.
Since then, my mission has been to walk alongside families in every part of their journey. Sometimes that means connecting them with other providers or resources, sometimes it’s collaborating across care teams, and often it’s simply being there to listen and provide encouragement. I know what it feels like to navigate a diagnosis, to balance hope with uncertainty, and to want the very best for your child.
It is from that place of shared experience that I continue to serve, with the belief that families deserve not only effective services but also genuine care and partnership.
Because being both a BCBA—and a mom—means leading with both knowledge and heart.
